    As a homeowner

    1. 01Sign in as Marcus Webb — he's $450 past due on purpose.
    2. 02Switch his payment plan between monthly, quarterly and annual; every option totals the same year.
    3. 03Pay part of the balance and watch the ledger and the past-due flag update together.

    As the board

    1. 01Sign in as Sarah Chen, then use the Officer / Member toggle to see both sides of the same data.
    2. 02Open Assessments, split a cost across every lot, and read the confirm step before approving.
    3. 03Record a Stripe payout under Finances — it books the gross and the fee as separate lines.

What's under it in the real build

A full association platform: resident dues and payment plans, an online ledger, a moderated community board, a searchable guidelines handbook, and the officer tools a treasurer actually needs — special assessments, bank registers, Stripe payout reconciliation, and 1120-H tax summaries.

The production version adds the parts a demo can't fake: authenticated accounts with row-level database rules so a resident can never read officer-only records, real card processing, transactional email for statements and reminders, and an audit trail behind every balance correction.
